Engineering Estimator / Technical Sales
Nottinghamshire
Permanent
up to 50000 per annum

EMBS Engineering is excited to recruit for a talented Engineering Estimator to join a leading precision engineering company based in North Nottinghamshire on a permanent basis. Ideal for individuals with experience in roles such as Manufacturing Engineer Production Engineer Applications Engineer Technical Engineer Technical Sales Engineer Development Engineer or CAD/CAM Programmer this position offers the chance to make a significant impact in a dynamic and forwardthinking environment.

Your responsibilities include:
- Preparation of works instructions that clearly define the manufacturing process for production staff and generation of clear BOMs (bill of materials)
- Identifying ways to standardise the quotation process to improve speed of production and accurate repetition
- Providing support to production to ensure products are manufactured to appropriate standards and in the most costeffective manner
- Advising the appropriate processes for the manufacture of new products.
- Ensuring that all personnel are aware of the quality standards and have all the information required to be able to implement them
Successful applicants MUST be able to demonstrate:
- Previously worked with complex parts for precision industries including Aerospace Motorsport Nuclear MOD Oil & Gas etc
- Strong knowledge of machining (CNC & Manual) with the ability to calculate cycle times manning hours and knowledge of tooling jigs and fixtures
- Ability to identify a method of manufacture working from an engineering drawing
- Exposure and use of MRP/ERP systems
