Internship Program
At Five9 we are committed to providing an exceptional experience for our interns. We tailor our program to provide participants with real impactful work contributing directly to the continued success of Five9. Through our Speaker Series Intern Buddies Employee Resource Groups and other events youll have the opportunity to meet and learn from some of the best in the business.
This is a fulltime paid internship based out of our headquarters in San Ramon CA. The program runs 11 weeks with the opportunity to start in early or midJune.

I have always been very careeroriented and this summer Ive realized how important it is to also focus on other aspects of my life. Meeting different employees at Five9 and hearing their career trajectory made me realize that everything will work out eventually and to take my time exploring my interests. About the Team:
The Strategy & Operations team at Five9 Include Corporate Development IT Security and Facilities. The Corporate Development team is responsible for inorganic growth initiatives including acquisitions. Five9s Corporate Development Analyst Intern will gain handson experience understanding Five9s history of acquisitions as well as future growth initiatives acquisition strategy and integration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct competitive analysis industry research and financial modeling to support Five9s corporate development initiatives.
- Assist in analyzing competitive landscapes and providing datadriven insights to inform acquisition strategy and .
- Organize and facilitate stakeholder meetings supporting crossfunctional collaboration on strategic projects.
- Reporting to the SVP Corporate Development & Ventures and gaining handson experience in buyerled inorganic growth acquisition integration and highlevel corporate decisionmaking
- A key focus will be aggregating an integration playbook for Five9 providing valuable insights structure for future acquisitions and presenting the playbook during our Intern Showcase.
Key Qualifications:
- Rising college senior or above pursuing an undergrad degree in Finance or Economics.
- Must be able to work out of the San Ramon CA headquarters this summer.
- Critical thinking attention to detail communication skills and analytical skills will be the hallmarks of a successful candidate.
This is a fulltime paid internship based out of our headquarters in San Ramon CA. The program runs 11 weeks with the opportunity to start in early or mid June. This role is hybrid. 3 days a week (M W TH) in office is required.
