About Jordan Valley Community Health Center:

Job Summary:
Our ideal PRN Physician candidate will work independently and must be responsible selfconfident and have excellent judgment and decisionmaking skills. The provider will work with a variety of patients and must be caring compassionate and able to communicate well with people of all ages and backgrounds. They will promote effective working relations and work effectively as part of a team to facilitate the Clinics ability to meet its goals and objectives. The provider must demonstrate respect and regard for the dignity of all patients families visitors and fellow employees to ensure a professional responsible and courteous environment.
This provider will be called in when needed to cover shifts in our Express Care clinic and evenings and weekends are required.
Key Responsibilities:
Take medical histories and perform patient examinations.
Order and interpret laboratory tests and xrays.
Make diagnoses.
Provide treatment.
Manage chronic health conditions such as diabetes.
Perform preventive procedures such as immunizations.
Prescribe medications and other therapies.
Monitor and record patient progress.
Educate patients about their health and instruct them in selfcare techniques.
Promote wellness practices.
Respond to medical emergencies.
Performs work of equal skill and responsibility as directed. May also perform work of a higher level in preparation for increased responsibility and may be requested to perform work of lesser responsibility when workload of department so requires.
Refer patients to other physicians and other health care providers as needed.
Health Requirements:
All employees are required to provide proof of vaccination for Flu Hepatitis B and Tuberculosis (TB) as part of our commitment to maintaining a safe and healthy workplace.

- Graduate of an accredited medical school and have completed at least a three 3 year residency in a primary care specialty.
- Missouri State License to practice medicine. (MD or DO)
- Current BLS Certification required.
