As an experienced Speech & Language Therapist this is an excellent opportunity to work with a range of SLCN across several PMLD specialist schools in Merton. This multidisciplinary much respected and Borough Excellence Awardwinning team delivers statutory work EHCP assessments and a unique buyback service providing therapy training support and advice across Merton schools.
Your main responsibilities as a Speech and Language Therapist:
You will assess diagnose plan and deliver interventions for pupils with PMLD needs. You will offer advice and support to mainstream colleagues in developing inclusive provision either formally through consultation and training or through direct work in schools and settings. You will provide explicit explanations to parents and carers about therapy recommendations and support and train junior members of staff.
