About the role

This Occupational Therapy Position is based at St Johns Calvary in Hobart. Depending on level of experience a Professional Level 2 or would be considered.

Your main duties will include:
  • Conduct autonomous OT specific assessments and interventions in accordance with professional standards.
  • Work as an effective member of the multidisciplinary rehabilitation team and provide coordination to the Occupational Therapy team as and when required.
  • Supervise support train and provide clinical leadership to more junior Occupational Therapists students and Therapy Assistants as required
  • Participate in OT service development planning evaluation and promotion
About you
  • Recognised qualification in Occupational Therapy andRegistered with AHPRA
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience in contemporary rehabilitation patientcentred care and OT practice
  • Demonstrated ability to provide professional leadership support and supervision to Occupational Therapists therapy assistants and students and other team members as appropriate
  • Ability to be flexible and adaptive and innovative in approaches to service delivery
  • High level of written and verbal communication skills
  • Current Drivers License
