Job Description
As a Senior Software Engineer on the Creator Knowledge team you will lead projects that enhance how Creators learn and access information on Roblox. Our flagship product the create.roblox/docs website serves as a critical resource for both beginners (via tutorials) and experts (via API references).
To maximize the value of this content we are building systems to automate documentation generation and enhance content delivery through search AI chatbot personalized learning paths and improved discoverability. These efforts allow us to expand content coverage keep it up to date and ensure it reaches Creators where and when they need itwhile continuously refining how information is conveyed.
Your work will have a direct impact on millions of Creators by making essential knowledge more accessible discoverable and actionable. We primarily work with .NET and C# but adaptability to evolving technology is key.
You Will:
- Contribute to the backend development on our Search and Feeds systems.
- Mentor junior engineers on the team through formal mentoring and leadership by example.
- Own projects from technical specification and launch.
- Collaborate with product design and crossteam collaborators to uphold quality and velocity
You Have:
- 4 years of hands on working experience with BS degree or equivalent professional experience in Computer Science or a similar technical field
- Experience in programming languages such as C# or Python or Java
- Experience with API design patterns and serverside architecture/design
- Drove crossfunctional projects to build consumer facing products.
You Are:
- Passionate about building great user facing products through continuous improvements and rapid iterations with feedback
- Curious about new technology and product experiences
- Familiarity with A/B testing Bonus
Familiarity in search or recommendation systems Bonus
