Job Description
Euronext is the leading listing and trading venue in Europe.
Euronext operates regulated and transparent equity and derivatives markets one of Europes leading electronic fixed income trading markets and is the largest centre for debt and funds listings in the world.
We provide advanced market data services and a range of indices and index solutions including the AEX CAC40 BEL 20 ISEQ 20 and PSI 20 as well as a large set of ESG indices such as CAC40 ESG or MIB ESG. Euronexts proprietary trading platform Optiq offers cuttingedge solutions to both our trading and technology clients. We offer our clients innovative corporate and investors services.
We also operate Euronext FX in the United States and in Singapore and two spot FX matching engines in Tokyo and London. Euronext also operates 4 CSDs in Italy Portugal Norway and in Denmark and a clearing house in Italy Euronext Clearing.
Missions
M&A / Corporate Development side
Perform comprehensive company and industry research
Preparation of presentations and other materials for upcoming transactions
Perform and maintain financial models
Work on the due diligence and postclosing processes
The ideal candidate
Profile
Final or penultimate year student from a Tier 1 business or engineering school with strong academic credentials
At least a first successful internship experience in Investment Banking Strategy Consulting or equivalent experience (corporate finance strategy etc. within a corporate and preferably a financial institution
Fluent in English. Fluency in French will be a plus
Desired skills
Good knowledge / interest in the financial industry
Interest in the technology industry
Strong command of Excel and PowerPoint
Strong organizational skills
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Experience in project management
Fast learner proactive behavior and entrepreneurial mindset
