About Common House:
Common House is a gathering space that cultivates community through unique programming thoughtful design and diverse style of dining. Today we have Houses in Richmonds Arts District and Chattanoogas Southside in addition to our flagship location on Charlottesvilles historic Downtown Mall. As we continue to expand to midsized cities throughout the country were building a family of professionals dedicated to sharing our vision of comfort and community.

Position Summary:
Line cooks assist with food preparation follow recipes maintain professionalism in a fastpaced environment and possess a growth mentality. An ideal candidate focuses on service education and a positive kitchen culture based on trust and respect. Common House is a teaching kitchen. Learning and growth are high priorities amongst our team. Unlike other restaurants we are a fromscratch kitchen that leans into creativity and innovation. The final plates and experiences delivered to our members from our kitchen is one you can be proud of.
Qualifications:
- Preferred but not required 1 years experience in a professional kitchen
- Interested in sourcing ingredients locally and seasonally
- Possesses a strong work ethic a willingness to learn and take direction
- Selfmotivated positive demeanor punctual strong multitasking skills
