The program director is a doctorallyprepared and specialty certified faculty member who meets state and national standards for licensure in the APRN specialty at the OHSU School of Nursing. This leadership role has input responsibility and oversight for program structure and operations to ensure academic excellence that adheres to Oregon statutes and regulations and national accreditation standards for APRN education and practice. This is an inperson position based in Portland.
This is a 1.0 FTE position. 0.5 FTE is allotted to the program director position duties. The remaining 0.5 FTE may be a combination of all some or one of the following: teaching scholarship clinical practice in one of our faculty practices. This portion of the FTE will be negotiated with the School of Nursing Assistant Dean for Advanced Practice Nursing.
Appointee shall provide services as assigned by the supervisor in furtherance of the universitys missions and goals of teaching research patient care outreach and public service.
