Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the monthend quarterend and yearend close processes ensuring accurate financial reporting.
Manage and mentor one Senior Accountant providing guidance and professional development.
Ensure proper project setup in the accounting system aligning with contractual and regulatory requirements.
Maintain compliance with government contracting regulations including FAR and CAS.
Monitor and enforce financial policies controls and procedures.
Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to ensure accurate revenue recognition and project cost tracking.
Assist with internal and external audits by preparing required documentation.
Identify process improvement opportunities and drive efficiency in financial operations.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or related field.
Minimum of 10 years of progressive accounting experience including leadership or management experience.
Strong knowledge of Costpoint and government contracting regulations.
Experience with financial reporting reconciliations and project accounting.
Excellent problemsolving analytical and communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fastpaced environment.
