Job Description
Hire Resolve is currently partnering with a reputable Civil Engineering Plant Hire company and together seeking a skilled Earthmoving Diesel Mechanic for their mechanical workshop in Polokwane.
As an Earthmoving Diesel Mechanic you will play a crucial role in ensuring the proper functioning of heavy machinery used in construction mining and other industries. You will have the opportunity to work with a variety of earthmoving equipment diagnose and troubleshoot issues and perform necessary repairs and maintenance.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine servicing and maintenance tasks on earthmoving equipment
- Diagnose and repair mechanical issues in a timely manner
- Replace faulty parts as needed
- Ensure efficient operation of machinery to minimize downtime
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations
Requirements:
- Earthmoving Equipment Mechanic Trade Test Red Seal Certificate
- Minimum of 5 years experience as an Earthmoving Diesel Mechanic
- Strong knowledge of diesel engines and related components
- Experience in diagnosing and repairing mechanical issues in earthmoving equipment
- Proficient in using diagnostic tools and equipment
- Good problemsolving and decisionmaking skills
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks
- Valid drivers license
