Job Description
Grout Worker Responsibilities & Duties
- Preparing surfaces for grouting including cleaning priming and sealing
- Mixing and applying grout to surfaces according to project specifications
- Cutting and shaping grout to fit specific areas and spaces
- Inspecting and testing grout for proper consistency curing and strength
- Cleaning and maintaining tools equipment and work areas
- Adhering to all safety regulations and procedures
- Collaborating with other trades and team members to ensure successful project completion
Requirements
- Experience with a variety of grout types and application methods
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics
- Experience working on commercial industrial or residential projects
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in grouting or related field
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Knowledge of grouting materials techniques and tools
- Physical dexterity and ability to work in cramped or awkward spaces
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Willingness to work flexible hours and in various weather conditions
