The Department of Criminology in the College of Social Sciences Mathematics and Education at The University of Tampa invites applications for parttime instructors in criminology and criminal justice.
Responsibilities will include:
1. Teach introductory courses in criminology and criminal justice.
2. Follow department requirements for syllabi and other course related materials.
3. Teach course(s) according to department guidelines.
4. Provide meeting times for students.
5. Complete course grading and submit final grades on the online system.
The successful candidate will have:
1. Masters Degree in Criminology/Criminal Justice (or closely related discipline) required; Doctorate preferred. A law degree does not substitute for a Masters Degree in Criminology/Criminal Justice.
2. College level teaching experience; experience teaching Criminology/Criminal Justice classes preferred.
3. Relevant work experience a plus but not required.
