Job Description
Job Overview:
RectorSeal is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician at our injection molding/extrusion facility in Fall River. The Maintenance Technician will work with our team to maintain and repair molding machines extruders granulators chillers temp controllers conveyors and custom equipment and automation.
RectorSeal manufactures and distributes various chemical and mechanical products for the HVAC electrical and plumbing industries. The Maintenance Technician will provide sitewide technical supportto ensure our products are delivered safely productively and on time in accordance with our customerfocused core values.
Key Responsibilities:
- Completing preventive maintenance requirements on motors pumps hydraulics pneumatics and conveyor systems ensures the operation of machinery and electronic equipment.
- Troubleshoot and repair breakdowns of molding machines extruders grinders chillers temp controllers conveyors and other industrial equipment
- Work with outside vendors for service support parts supplies etc. Support outside contractors scheduled to complete projects within the facility
- Understand technical documents and equipment specifications
- All performed work to meet industry safety standards and guidelines
- Use of a computerized maintenance management system (Fixx) for completing tasks
Minimum Requirements:
- Minimum five years of experience in a jobrelated field
- Experience in a fastpaced industrial environment
- Must possess or be willing to acquire NFPA 70E Certification
- High School Diploma or equivalent
Skills/Competencies:
- Experience in a fastpaced industrial environment
- Troubleshooting and problemsolving
- Able to operate and maintain equipment in alignment with safety standards
- Able to read Material Safety Data Sheets as well as raw material and finished goods container labels
- Highquality standards and degree of accuracy and organizational skills
- Solid work history that demonstrates reliability and ability to thrive in a team environment
- Able to understand take ownership and ensure the followthrough of directives as planned
- Adaptable and easily adjusts to changing work conditions and responsibilities with a positive attitude
Preferred Experience:
- Work with automated equipment and PLCs a plus
Work Environment
While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly exposed to a nonclimatecontrolled warehouse environment. While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to sit stand walk and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to use hands and fingers to type or dial climb or balance stoop kneel crouch or crawl and reach with hands and arms.
The employee must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. This position requires computer use. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision color vision distance vision depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
Compensation:
RectorSeal has an effective process for assessing market data and establishing ranges to ensure we remain competitive. You are paid within the salary range based on your experience and market position. The target salary range for this hourly opportunity is$26.00/hr. $32.00/hr. Plus there is an annual bonus incentive.
Employees may be eligible for pay incentives based on overall corporate and individual performance or at the discretion of the CSWI Board of Directors.
