Summary We have a current opportunity for an Electrical Engineer located at our facility in Greenville IN. We are looking for someone who is excited about commercial space and the challenges of designing electronics for the harshness of space. The candidate will be involved in all aspects of circuit design including digital and analog design test and analysis. Responsibilities - Responsible for the design build and test of spacebased electronics for multiple projects
- Electronic circuit design using schematic capture and PCB layout software
- Ownership of circuit designs from cradle to grave
- Work as part of multidiscipline design team (Software Mechanical Biomedical)
- Integration of offtheshelf circuit boards into a larger system
- Generate fabrication drawings and parts lists
- Proving a design using simulation and mathematics
- Electrical testing and verifications
- Troubleshooting system board and component level issues
Ideal Skills - BS Degree in Electrical Engineering. MS Degree preferred.
- 02 years design experience working as a full time employee.
- Knowledge of lowvoltage analog and digital components.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings/schematics.
- Circuit simulation experience using a Spicebased tool.
- US Citizen or Green Card holder (Visa sponsorship not accepted).
Desired Skills - Experience with Schematic Capture and PCB Layout
- Handson experience with PCB fabrication and soldering
- Troubleshooting experience with tools such as oscilloscopes multimeters and logic analyzers
- Analog circuit design using transistors and opamps
- Digital design using microcontrollers FPGA and/or logic gates
