Aeroflow Health Customer Service Representative Sleep Billing
This is a fully inoffice position in our Pelham Alabama office.
Hours/Shift: Monday Friday 8:00 am 5:00 pm CST
Pay: $20 $23 an hour based on experience

The Opportunity
The Sleep Billing Team at Aeroflow currently consists of 18 members dedicated to collecting outstanding payments from health insurance companies or patients. We primarily serve patients who receive continuous positive airway pressure (CPAP) and noninvasive ventilation equipment and supplies through Aeroflow Sleep.
The Billing department includes the following roles:
- Customer Service Representatives
- Insurance Billing Specialists
- Prior Authorization Specialists
Your Primary Responsibilities
We are currently seeking a Customer Service Representative (CSR). A CSR is typically responsible for:
- Assisting patients with billing/insurance/account operation needs
- High volume inbound and outbound phone work
- Insurance verification
- Clearly convey adjudicated claims and explanation of benefits to patients
- Verification of required medical documentation
- Provide excellent customer service through phone calls and emails
- Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities
- Performs other duties as required
- Employees have an individual responsibility for knowledge of and compliance with laws regulations and policies.
- Compliance is a condition of employment and is considered an element of job performance
- Maintain HIPAA confidentiality
- Regular and reliable attendance as assigned by your schedule
Skills for Success
- High volume inbound and outbound phone work
- Selfdisciplined ability to multitask excellent critical thinking skills research and work cohesively as team member
- A proven work history illustrating stability and reliability
- Exceptional interpersonal verbal and written communication skills
- Maintain HIPAA confidentiality
Required Qualifications
- High inbound call volume multiphone line/Call center experience
- Ability to communicate verbally and in writing in a professional composed manner.
- Insurance billing and/or accounts receivable experience
- Minimum of 1 year of customer service
- Microsoft Office proficiency
- Google/Gmail proficiency
You might also have
- Previous health insurance experience preferred
- Multiphone line/Call center experience is preferred
