Job Description
We are seeking an Implementations Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will utilize their project management expertise by leading and organizing internal and external resources to successfully manage complex customer installations into CyrusOnes data centers. The Implementations Manager is a critical member of the Customer Success organization and thereby defines our customers onboarding experience while enabling customer growth with CyrusOne.
Responsibilities:
- Effectively initiates defines and evaluates the customer project through communications contract and documentation review and associated business analysis
- Accurately identifies stakeholders sets expectations and addresses related project impacts and goals
- Methodically assembles the project plan including the scope WBS schedule costs quality communication revenue intervals and risks based on the contract and through partnership with the customer CyrusOne account team construction service delivery facilities network security and associated vendors
- Manages and enables the project team resources and vendors to execute the tasks deliverables and associated milestones efficiently while owning the customer project communication
- Analyzes and identifies solutions to mitigate risk and impacts to quality cost scope and time while offering guidance and opportunities with a focus on customer satisfaction
- Monitors controls and reports on project work through tools and feedback mechanisms to effectively communicate progress to stakeholders including executive leadership
- Performs integrated change control while sourcing and implementing collaborative decisions to achieve the customers desired results
- Articulates closing processes revenue recognition requirements and stakeholder acceptance while generating reports and surveys to enable postinstall customer success and account management ownership transition
- Accomplishes successful project closure through ontime delivery of CyrusOnes data center products and services
Qualifications:
- 5 years in data center and IT infrastructure services
- Extensive experience in large scale data center builds migrations and installations
- Knowledge of telecom network cloud services and IT systems
- Knowledge of Data Centers and Network Transport equipment including IP and MPLS circuits
- Experience working with Telecom Carriers
- Understanding of Fiber Optic technologies (e.g. Single Mode and Multimode fiber)
- Knowledge of Auto CAD Visio and Smart Sheet preferred
Communications and Relationship Management
- Willingness to attract and nurture customer relationships vendor relationships and industry partner contacts to enable business growth positive reputation and continued success
- Ability to tactfully navigate through escalations challenging conversations conflicting interests and financial concerns while maintaining composure core values and goodwill
- Desire to build and develop relationships with CyrusOne colleagues to increase organizational effectiveness and mutual value generation
- Naturally enthusiastic for the work industry and growth opportunities while demonstrating strong interpersonal written and oral skills
- Technology savvy with the ability to adopt and respect global forms of communication including cultural norms language barriers and time zone differences
Business Process Innovation
- Customer success mentality with the ability to prioritize the customer experience throughout the project lifecycle
- Ability to document current processes while conceptualizing evolved processes through systems and automation
- Aptitude to develop feedback systems surveys reports and lessons learned documentation
Education/Certifications:
- BA or BS in technical discipline or equivalent practical experience
- PMP certification preferred or equivalent demonstrated practical project management experience
Work Environment:
- Remote work is supported two days a week
