Job Description
Key Responsibilities
Lead the development coordination and delivery of highquality proposals for Corps of Engineers projects.
Analyze solicitation documents (RFPs RFQs etc. to understand and address specific requirements and evaluation criteria.
Collaborate with technical teams marketing firms estimators and project managers to gather necessary information and develop comprehensive bid packages.
Ensure compliance with all contractspecific guidelines and regulations throughout the proposal process.
Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the steel fabrication and machining industry particularly in areas relevant to Corps of Engineers and DOT projects.
Manage multiple proposal efforts simultaneously ensuring timely submission and adherence to strict deadlines.
Coordinate with subcontractors and partners as necessary for joint bids or consortium proposals.
Provide strategic input to enhance the competitiveness of proposals including value engineering alternative solutions and pricing strategies.
Conduct postsubmission debriefs and analysis to continuously improve proposal quality and success rates.
Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Business Engineering Construction Management or related field OR
Minimum of 5 years of experience in proposal management preferably in the steel fabrication or construction industry.
Demonstrated experience in managing proposals for relevant projects is essential.
Strong understanding of federal and state procurement processes and regulations.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a talent for persuasive and clear proposal writing.
Ability to work under pressure and manage tight deadlines.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and familiar with proposal management software.
Detailoriented organized and capable of handling complex multifaceted projects.
Team player with strong leadership and collaboration skills.
