Job Description
Double L Enterprises is seeking the right candidate to join our team as an Equipment Operator. When you join Double L you are getting more than a job you are joining a company who truly cares about the community.

Job Functions:
- Skillfully operate excavation equipment such as excavators backhoes bulldozers or skid steers to dig trenches move earth and level terrain.
- Use hydraulic and manual controls to manipulate attachments (e.g. buckets blades) for precise excavation tasks.
- Conduct daily checks on equipment inspecting fluids (oil fuel hydraulic) tracks tires and attachments for wear or damage.
- Ensure safety features (e.g. backup alarms lights) are functional before starting work.
- Report any mechanical issues to supervisors or maintenance teams.
- Interpret grade stakes blueprints or laser levels to ensure accuracy.
- Coordinate with ground crew foremen or engineers via hand signals radios or verbal instructions to align tasks.
- Support and comply with all components of the companys safety program.
- Avoid hazards like underground utilities (e.g. gas water lines) by following site markings or using detection tools.
- Perform basic upkeep like cleaning equipment greasing moving parts or refueling at the end of shifts.
- Perform other jobrelated duties as assigned.

Requirements:
- Valid Michigan class A operators license with trailer endorsement
- Ability to operate and troubleshoot excavation equipment.
- Precision in following plans and maintaining safety.
- Mechanical skills highly beneficial
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively
- Able to perform duties and responsibilities with little or no supervision
- Must be mentally and physically fit to perform assigned duties
- Must be able to stand sit and walk for extended periods
