Job Description
Job Summary: Volvo Shreveport is seeking a highly motivated and customer serviceoriented Parts Counterperson to join our team. As a Parts Counterperson you will be responsible for assisting customers with their automotive parts needs maintaining inventory levels and completing sales transactions. This is a fulltime individual contributor position in the automotive industry located in Shreveport Louisiana.

Responsibilities: Greet and assist customers who come to the parts counter with their automotive parts inquiries or purchases Identify and locate the needed automotive parts for customers by using catalogues and computer systems Review and research customer vehicle information to ensure correct parts are being sold Ensure that all customers receive a high level of customer service and satisfaction Maintain an organized and clean parts department and inventory Monitor and order inventory from various vendors to ensure adequate stock levels Complete sales transactions accurately and efficiently including handling payment and issuing receipts Provide pricing information and answer questions about parts and accessories Communicate with technicians and other departments to ensure timely delivery of parts Keep uptodate with new product knowledge features and accessories Assist in maintaining accurate records of sales inventory and customer interactions.
Requirements: High School Diploma or equivalent Prior experience in an automotive parts counter or dealership setting preferred Excellent customer service and communication skills Strong organizational and timemanagement skills Ability to work in a fastpaced environment Proficient in computers and basic math Ability to lift up to 50lbs and stand for extended periods of time Willingness to work flexible hours and weekends as needed.
