The IMSR is a nonLight Water Reactor of the Generation IV class that operates at the high temperature required for broad industrial use and transformative economic potential. The IMSR plant is ideally suited for distributed generation of electricity and heat on a largescale for many energyintensive industries. This includes but is not limited to petrochemical and chemical plants and data centers. The IMSR plant delivers affordability and cost competitiveness of nuclear energy in competitive energy market from many design attributes including high temperature operation that results is a near 50 percent improvement in the efficiency of electric power generation compared to Light Water Reactor nuclear plants. Its industrial cogeneration capability delivers to todays markets competitiveness energy security safety and zeroemissions industrial production.
