Position Summary
The Parking Attendant is responsible for controlling/monitoring entry to the Jim Shorkey Parking Garage at PPG Paints Arena for guests VIPs and employees.
This role pays an hourly wage of $14.32 to $16.00.
Benefits for PT roles: 401(k) savings plan and 401(k) matching.
This position will remain open until April 11 2025.
About the Venue
As a leading entertainment venuePPG Paints Arenais the regional epicenter for athletic events concerts and family shows in Western Pennsylvania and home to the NHLs Pittsburgh Penguins.
Responsibilities
- Controlling/monitoring entry to the Jim Shorkey Parking Garage at PPG Paints Arena for guests VIPs and employees
- Provide all guests a positive first impression by offering World Class Service
- Monitoring parking garage for safety and security of guests and employees and vehicles
- Provide guests with directions and other venue information
- Direct guests and employees to available parking spaces
- Ability to maximize number of vehicles per lot
- Respond to all comments/complaints in a prompt courteous and professional manner
- Scan barcodes QR codes collect cash and/or coupons for entry and maintain security of cash
- Maintain a neat and clean appearance during all scheduled shifts
Qualifications
- Must be polite friendly and possess excellent interpersonal skills as this position has extensive guest and employee contact
- Ability to multitask
- Must have reliable transportation
- The ability to work various hours as needed including nights and weekends
