Job Title: Medical Surgical Nurse (RN Med Surg) TRAVEL
Location: Phoenix AZ
Position Overview:
ATC Healthcare is seeking an experienced and compassionate Medical Surgical Nurse with MedicalSurgical expertise to join our team for a contract assignment in Phoenix AZ. The MEDICAL SURGICAL REGISTERED NURSE (RN) is a healthcare provider who through education and experience possesses a distinct body of knowledge and skills relative to the care of the patient across the lifespan who is experiencing general medical conditions or general surgical interventions. The MEDICAL SURGICAL REGISTERED NURSE (RN) applies general nursing knowledge in assessing implementing and evaluating patient response to general and specific conditions general therapies and interventions. Job Details:
- Assignment Length:13 weeks
- Start Date:January 6 2025
- Shift:Night shift 36 hours per week
- 12 hours shifts weekend: rotating call:
- Pay Rate:Competitive pay of $2282 per week $63.40 hr.
Job Requirements:
- Experience:Two years of experience
- Certification:BLS required
- Licensure: Current Registered Nurse License in the State of Arizona required or approved compact state of residence
- Equipment utilized in the unit/dept. (Is there computerized charting medication systems etc. CERNER
- Additional Requirements:compliance with current facility health standards
Job Responsibilities:
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with all levels of personnel and medical staff.
- Ability to problem solve and engage independent critical thinking skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality relevant to sensitive information.
- Ability to adhere to hospital and department procedures.
- Ability to prioritize work demands and work with minimal supervision.
- Ability to work in a fastpaced environment relevant to changing patient needs
- Nurse to patient ratio of this unit. (nursing only) 1:6 # beds: 52
