Expression of Interest Parking Ranger

Regulatory Services are calling for Expressions of Interest (EOI) from Council employees interested in a secondment opportunity in the position of Parking Ranger for a 12month period commencing in April.
The successful candidate must be willing to complete a Certificate IV in Local Government or Certificate IV in Government Investigations which will be covered as part of this secondment opportunity.
This position will (once competent):
- Perform all duties of a parking officer as well as action unattended vehicles and items and investigate footway obstructions.
- Lead the development implementation and delivery of engaging education programs focused on parking regulations aimed at schools local residents and community groups.
- Play a key role in enforcing and applying essential Acts Regulations Codes and Policies related to:
- Parking enforcement
- Public space management
- Be a vital force in creating and maintaining a wellorganised safe and efficient community environment.

Salary during the secondment period will be negotiated with the successful candidate based on their relevant skills and experience up to a salary grade 7 which is the evaluated grade for this position.
