Support the Department of Public Works in their mission to provide professional public works services to manage natural and built systems and foster community health safety and sustainability. This position is in the Facilities Maintenance Division and may be assigned to either a HVAC or Electrical Crew.
This position may be filled as a Building Maintenance Mechanic II or as a Building Maintenance Mechanic III depending on qualifications.
The preferred hiring range for a Building Maintenance Mechanic II or III is between$19.00 $24.00 Hourly$39520.00 $49920.00 Annually). As of March 28 2024 this position is in the Labor and Trades bargaining unit in accordance with the CitysCollective Bargaining Ordinance (Ordinance No. 22128. Starting pay for this position is based on applicable education experience and internal equity. Future wage adjustments are subject to terms and conditions of the collective bargaining agreement between the City and the exclusive bargaining representative.
