Job Summary
The Department of Psychology at Gonzaga University in Spokane WA invites applications for a fulltime lecturer position (nontenuretrack) beginning Fall semester 2023. We wish to welcome a developmental psychologist who is committed to teaching excellence and gaining experience teaching at a primarily undergraduatefocused institution. Candidates must demonstrate teaching excellence and a commitment to creating an inclusive learning environment. Teaching load of 24 credits per academic year (i.e. 4 courses per semester. This will include courses such as Lifespan Development Child Psychology and Introductory Research Methods. Provide curriculum and career advising and mentoring to the programs undergraduates as needed.
Minimum Qualifications
Ph.D. in Psychology with a specialty in developmental or child psychology by July 15 2023. Evidence of teaching effectiveness including the ability to effectively respond to the academic needs of learners from diverse backgrounds identities and diverse experiences. Demonstrated ability to teach courses in developmental psychology and research methods.
