ThisGeneral Managerrole offers a unique opportunity to lead an established Dealership with strong community recognition. With strategic oversight of all operations at Steele Volkswagen youll drive performance foster collaboration and implement best practices that enhance operations in sales finance service and parts. Reporting to and acting as a representative of Steele Auto Head Office this role is based onsite at the dealership in Burnside allowing you to directly support the dealership team while cultivating a culture of excellence focused on customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.

Compensation: Commensurate with knowledge skills and abilities.Base plus performance bonus structure.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Managing the overall performance of the dealership including sales finance service and parts departments.
- Collaborating with department managers to set and achieve financial and operational goals.
- Leading coaching and developing department managers and staff to ensure a cohesive and highperforming team.
- Ensuring that the dealership delivers a superior customer experience and maintains excellent customer satisfaction ratings.
- Implementing continuous improvement initiatives and maintaining compliance with company policies and industry standards.
- Monitoring financial performance optimizing cost efficiencies and ensuring profitability across the dealership.
- Manage activities directly related to the supply of vehicles.
- Manage activities directly related to the sales and marketing of goods and services.
- Analyzing market trends and identifying opportunities for growth and expansion.
- Representing Head Office and actioning Steele Auto Groups strategic initiatives.
- With support of the HR team being the onsite representative for employee relations matters.
To Be Successful in This Role Youll Need:
- A minimum of 10 years of dealership management experience.
- Proven ability to lead and develop highperforming teams across multiple departments.
- A solid understanding of dealership financials sales and service operations.
- Strong negotiation problemsolving and decisionmaking skills.
- A commitment to delivering exceptional customer service and achieving high customer satisfaction ratings.
- The ability to thrive in a fastpaced resultsdriven environment.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
Preferred Experience (Not Required but Beneficial):
- Previous General Manger experience or brand experience.
- Knowledge of automotive retail and wholesale financing.
- Familiarity with dealer management systems (DMS) and other relevant technologies.
