Job Description

RPO Recruitments client a wellestablished PQS firm in the Western Cape is currently seeking a dedicated and hardworking Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join their dynamic team in Cape Town as soon as possible.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist in Final Account verification (check contractor quotations against contract rates)
  • Set up enquiry BOQs from a scope of work
  • Adjudication of tenders
  • Prepare Contract BOQs
  • Administer Contract Variation Orders
  • Manage enquiries for tender purposes
  • Conduct site measures
  • Process interim payments
  • Prepare engineering estimates
  • Perform cost reporting
Requirements:
  • Minimum of a National Diploma in Building/BTech in Quantity Surveying or similar/higher
  • Over 3 years experience in the QS consulting or construction industry
  • Proficiency in WinQS DimX SAP MS Office
  • Attention to detail deadlinedriven and ability to work within a team
  • Willingness to learn and build on experience
  • Candidate/Professional QS registration with SACQSP
Benefits:
Salary: R216K R240K CTC per annum negotiable
