The Orenda Center of Wellness Outpatient Services Division is seeking a dependable professional and serviceoriented Transporter and Custodial Technician to join our team. This fulltime position plays a vital role in supporting our outpatient operations by providing safe client transportation and ensuring the cleanliness and upkeep of our center. Primary Responsibilities:
Client Transportation:
- Provide timely and safe transportation for clients from their home and/or residence to and from the center for group and individual counseling sessions.
- Continuous communication and quick response time with request for pick up or drop off needs as instructed.
- Operate the company van and maintain a professional and courteous demeanor at all times.
- Ensure that all client transport needs are met Monday through Friday during standard business hours.
- Maintain the cleanliness and readiness of the company vehicle including regular sanitization fuel checks and reporting of maintenance issues.
- Ensure transportation supplies (first aid kit sanitation items etc. are always stocked and available.
Custodial and Facility Upkeep:
- Perform daily cleaning and hourly checks of the outpatient center including:
- Restroom cleaning supply stocking and sanitization.
- Surface cleaning and disinfecting throughout the center and all group rooms.
- Collection and disposal of trash daily.
- Restocking of all facility supplies toiletries cleaning supplies paper goods etc..
- Resetting and tidying group rooms between sessions.
- Mopping and sweeping of all hallways floor and group rooms including daily vacuuming of offices.
- Monitor cleanliness and general condition of offices common areas and clinical spaces to maintain a welcoming and hygienic environment.
Additional Duties:
- Assist with observed urine analysis (UA) screenings for clients as needed.
- Complete facilityrelated errands and tasks as assigned by the Executive Director.
- Support daytoday operational needs as requested.
Requirements:
- Valid Maryland State Drivers License with a clean driving record must be insurable under company policy.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to pass a local / federal background check and drug screening.
- Previous experience in custodial facilities support or transportation roles preferred.
- CPR/First Aid Certified(preferred)
- Understanding of HIPAA OSHA and behavioral health services
- Strong attention to detail time management skills provide clear communication and reliability.
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. and perform physical tasks related to cleaning organizing and rearranging of furniture.
Work Schedule:
- Monday through Friday
- 8:30a to 4:30p with required 30 min unpaid lunch break daily
- All work hours aligned with outpatient programming schedules and client transportation needs.
