Job Description
Position: Cook Seva Kitchen & Bar at voco the Cadence an IHG Hotel
Location: Niagara Falls New York
Employment Type: Full Time Hourly (Hospitality / Restaurant)
Compensation: $16 to $18 per hour paid weekly

Job Summary:
Voco the Cadence is seeking a skilled and dedicated Cook to join our team at Seva Kitchen & Bar. As a Cook you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of dishes and ensuring that our guests receive highquality meals that meet their satisfaction. You must be efficient organized and have a strong passion for cooking and creating delicious dishes.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff
- Follow recipes and presentation specifications to ensure consistency and quality of dishes
- Prepare ingredients and ensure that all food items are stored and rotated properly
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen and work area at all times
- Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards
- Operate kitchen equipment such as stoves ovens grills and fryers
- Monitor inventory and restock supplies as needed
- Communicate closely with servers and other kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate service
- Follow all company and safety policies and procedures
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Cook or similar role in a highvolume restaurant
- Knowledge of various cooking methods ingredients and procedures
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fastpaced environment
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Diploma from a culinary school or equivalent experience is preferred
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods lift and carry up to 50 pounds
