Job Description
Purpose ofthe Job
The AssistantManager Manufacturing and Quality will play a crucial role in the successfullaunch and ongoing production of over 100 SKUs in the categories of incense sticksscented candles and reed diffusers. This position is responsible for ensuringthat all products meet established quality standards and are manufacturedefficiently thereby contributing to the overall success of the brand.
KeyResponsibilities:
Production Planning: Develop and implement production plans to support the launch ofover 100 SKUs within the first year.
Quality Assurance: Establish and monitor quality parameters to ensure compliance withindustry standards.
Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate and improve manufacturing processes toenhance efficiency and product quality.
Collaboration: Work closely with crossfunctional teams including R&Dsupply chain and marketing to ensure alignment on product specifications andtimelines.
Compliance: Ensure adherence to safety and regulatory standards in allmanufacturing processes.
Reporting: Prepare and present regular reports on production metrics qualityissues and improvement initiatives to senior management.
Skills & Competencies Required:
Technical Skills: Strong understanding of manufacturing processes quality assuranceproduction planning and process improvement methodologies.
Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze production data and identify areas forimprovement.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effectivecollaboration with team members and stakeholders.
ProblemSolving: Strong problemsolving skills to address manufacturing challengesand quality issues.
Requirements
Qualifications Required:
Bachelors degree inEngineering Manufacturing Quality Management or a related field.
Prior Experience Required:
Minimum of 25 years ofexperience in manufacturing and quality assurance preferably in the consumergoods or wellness industry.
Proven experience in productionplanning and process improvement initiatives.
