Job Description

TXI is seeking a Chief Revenue Officer to drive strategic enterprise sales and build a worldclass organization that delivers innovative digital solutions.

As a boutique strategy and product innovation firm our capabilities include product discovery delivery and adoption.

As the Chief Revenue Officer you will lead our demand team in securing and expanding complex highvalue opportunities with our clients typically with a deal size of $1M. You will develop innovative service offerings articulate compelling value propositions to both technical and business stakeholders and grow/evolve a highperformance salesdriven organization. Your success will be measured by your ability to nurture client relationships drive strategic partnerships and consistently translate market insights into revenue growth. A strong professional network versatility across market verticals and a datadriven approach to sales leadership are critical to excelling in this role.

What Were Looking For

Our ideal candidate has a proven track record of generating $5M in annual revenue through new client acquisitions in custom software and/or professional services with a strategic approach to emerging technology sales. They excel at winning complex technical proposals establishing impactful partnerships and demonstrating measurable increases in market visibility and brand recognition.

Key Qualifications

    • Proven track record of enterprise sales with ability to secure $1M annual multiyear contracts
    • Expert in consultative selling including lead nurturing project scoping and contract negotiation
    • Demonstrated success in transforming single projects into longterm strategic partnerships
    • Proven track record of leading business development and marketing teams leveraging CRM and demand tools to improve the demand generation process
    • Proven ability to leverage a robust professional network of enterpriselevel client connections unencumbered by prior employment constraints

    • Successful track record of productmarket fit development
    • Develop new service offerings based on market insights
    • Adapt existing solutions to meet specific client needs
    • Articulate compelling value propositions to technical and business stakeholders

Sales Leadership Capabilities

    • Proven experience building and leading highperforming sales organizations
    • Ability to develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies and tools
    • Skilled at holding their team (especially the executives) accountableas well as mentorship driving team performance and CRM adoption
    • Expertise in creating consistent meaningful reporting for TXI stakeholders and our Board of Directors

    • Evolve our capabilities and service offerings over time to meet market need
    • Inspire and motivate the broader delivery organization to participate in commercial activities
    • Communicate demand strategy our approach and progress around demand activities to the company

    • Market Strategy & Positioning
    • Develop and implement strategies to increase TXIs visibility in Chicago/Midwest markets
    • Refine messaging around digital transformation data products and AI applications to more effectively resonate with our Ideal Client Profile (ICPs)
    • Deepen TXIs reputation as a thought leader in custom software development and digital transformation
    • Evolve TXIs productmarket fit over time helping to choose the target ICP and quantify the Total Addressable Market (TAM) that matches our services and offerings

    • Revenue Growth & Pipeline Development
    • Build and manage a pipeline of qualified opportunities with $1M annual YoY potential
    • Define a revenue generation framework spanning lead cultivation to close
    • Cultivate partnerships that help to position our service offerings in the market
    • Set and achieve ambitious but realistic new logo revenue and targets

    • Sales Enablement & Process Optimization
    • Develop effective proposal and pricing strategies for our services
    • Create repeatable demand approach and tactics for marketing and sales
    • Implement sales analytics/reporting to monitor our demand activity effectiveness and drive continuous improvement
    • Manage our CRM tooling and approach
    • Design and implement comprehensive training programs to upskill demand and marketing team members and enhance their ability to effectively communicate TXIs value proposition and close deals

    • Manage the demand team contractors and vendors
    • Manage mentor and grow members of the demand and marketing teams through training and other opportunitiesand hold them accountable to growth goals and targets
    • Select and manage the various vendors and contractors that we use to augment our demand team (ex: SEO vendors)

    • Client Relationship Management (in collaboration with our Strategy Practice)
    • Establish processes to identify expansion opportunities in existing accounts
    • Build executivelevel relationships with key clients and prospects
    • Ensure alignment between sales promises and delivery capabilities
