Location: Sutton
Salary: MPS/UPS (Outer London) TLR1
Contract: Fulltime Permanent

Head of Science The Role:
- Lead and manage the Science Department driving innovation and excellence in teaching and learning.
- Deliver inspiring and rigorous Science lessons across Key Stages 3 4 and 5.
- Develop and enhance the Science curriculum ensuring it remains engaging and academically rigorous.
- Support and mentor Science teachers fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
- Analyse student data to track progress and implement effective intervention strategies where necessary.
- Contribute to wholeschool initiatives and STEM outreach programs.
Head of Science The Successful Candidate Will Have:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and extensive experience teaching and leading Science at secondary level.
- A 2:1 or higher degree in Science or a closely related subject.
- Proven leadership skills or the ambition and potential to step into a leadership role.
- A passion for Physics education and a track record of delivering exceptional student outcomes.
- Strong classroom management skills and the ability to inspire and challenge students.
- A commitment to innovation in teaching and a willingness to contribute to extracurricular STEM activities.
