We are looking for a Sr. Software Engineer to join our team in one of todays most exciting technologies. This role will report to Principal Engineer and based in San Jose CA. This is a fully onsite in office role.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Design and delivery of scalable datadriven applications in realtime platforms
- Full development cycle from conceptualizing coding testing deployment to iterating for continuous improvement
- Work closely with engineering operations and business teams to measure analyze and understand Bloom Energys complex and growing data and help them make real time decisions.
- Develop/maintain services exposed through clean REST API that would store process data run analytics generate KPIs.
- Automation first thinking!
Requirement:
- 2 years of relevant experience
- Proficient with programming in Python/Java/Golang/Rust familiarity with compiled languages
- Demonstrated experience with NoSQL databases like MongoDB Hadoop and REST APIs
- REST APIs web application stack and patterns
- Creating reproduceable development and regression test environments CICD pipelines
- Experience withLinux container ecosystems eventbased designs cloud computing (AWS preferred)
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills & comfortable working in teams
- Work experience in the process industry is a plus but is notrequired.
- Graduate Education in:
- Chemical Mechanical Electrical Engineering Computer or Data Sciences
- M.S. degree candidates preferred
