Job Description
If you are an Assemblerprofessional looking for an opportunity to grow Emerson has an exciting opportunity for you! Based in our Stafford TX location you will use a variety of hand and power tools to perform routine and assembly of basic components in accordance with quality and quantity standards.
In this Role Your Responsibilities Will Be:
- Follow procedures for assembling products handling products equipment and materials per the production department and companys quality system procedures.
- Review shop operations packets BillsofMaterials and engineering drawings to ensure that incoming materials to be assembled are accurate as to specified quantity/quality/part number.
- Based on production specifications and/or Team Leaders instructions select parts tools and equipment required for quality mechanical assembly production.
- Apply accurately calibrated precision measuring instruments when performing inspections and inform the Team Leader of any operating material or parts condition that would interfere with production quality or quantity.
- Perform routine operator maintenance and operational checks on all tools and equipment used.
- Segregate and periodically dispose of s and recycled material into approved collection containers.
- Operate appropriate equipment required to move materials into around or out of the department.
- Maintain an accurate record of all work performed in the appropriate company format.
For This Role You Will Need:
- High School Diploma/GED
- 25 years previous experience in valve assembly
