The Role: Internal Direct Indexing and Model Portfolios Specialist
The Role:
We are seeking an Internal Direct Indexing and Model Portfolios Specialist to join our Commercial team at S&P Dow Jones Indices. As Internal Direct Indexing and Model Portfolios Specialist you will focus on supporting the commercial business development and influence flows of our indices in Direct Indexing and Models Portfolios across asset managers wealth managers technology platforms and other financial institutions. You will be responsible for executing the strategy to drive flows of index solutions.
You have knowledge ofand prior experience in wealth and investment management direct indexing/personalized indexing and model portfolios Unified and Separate Managed Accounts (UMA/SMA) platforms model portfolio management ETFs and technology enabled distribution. You have a passion for client centric business models driving the growth and adoption of indexbased investing in model portfolios and direct indexing initiatives. You will generate sales identification advancement and closing of opportunities and support senior members of your team including fieldbased strategists.

Responsibilities:
Responsible for commercial growth of S&P Dow Jones Indices in Direct Indexing and Model portfolios including business development and subject matter expertise.
- Work collaboratively with senior members of your team to drive indexbased solutions adoption across various financial services channels with a focus on financial advisors across US wealth management
- Deliver a clearly differentiated competitive position for S&P DJI in Direct Indexing and Model Portfolios
- Strategically partner with distribution partners to support a diverse set of index solutions
- Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for indices in direct indexing and model portfolios via call campaigns and proactive email campaigns
- Support current product offerings and drive flows into postlicensed S&P DJI indexed investment solutions
- Build strong relationships internally with Sales Client Service IIS Marketing and Product teams to support strategic client initiatives
- Support business development through proactive and reactive engagements with wealth managers
- Maintain goal tracking reporting and communication.
What Were Looking For:
Basic Qualifications:
- Demonstrate knowledge of indexbased investing direct indexing/personalized indexing and model portfolios
- familiarity and prior experience in wealth or investment management supporting Unified and Separate Managed Accounts (UMA/SMA) Model Portfolios and Investment Advisory Solutions platforms in a sales capacity
- Outstanding communication skills with ability to articulate complex concepts in concise and compelling fashion
- Proven track record of working collaboratively crossfunctionally within a matrix /dotted line structure
- Proven track record raising capital and driving sales goals via consultative sales tactics
- Selfmotivated curios and passionate about empowering those around them
Preferred Qualifications:
- Undergraduate degree required
- Min 3 years in financial services ideally with experience in: investment sales portfolio strategy investment advisory investment consulting
- Effective in networking via proactive sales campaigns
- Prior experience with analytical tools including Salesforce Zephyr/PSN FactSet CIQ Pro Aladdin Morningstar SPICE advanced excel skill
- Dynamic selfmotivated team player
Compensation/Benefits Information (US Applicants Only):
S&P Global states that the anticipated base salary range for this position is $125000 to $145000.Base salary ranges may vary by geographic location. In addition to base compensation this role is eligible for additional compensation such as an annual incentive bonus.
