Working Hours: 37 hours per week

Worker Type: Hybrid Worker

Salary: Starting Salary is 62890 (Level one) rising to 68713 (Level Four) per annum (prorata for parttime)

About the role:

We are looking for a Public Health Principal to be based within the Health Improvement portfolio of our excellent public health team. You will lead on all things relating to maternity and children and young peoples health and wellbeing reporting to our Deputy Director of Public Health and supported by a team of experienced public health managers. With a Best Start strategy in development and a commissioning review of 019 public health services to undertake it is an exciting and rewarding opportunity.

About you:

The ideal candidate will have:

a relevant Postgraduate degree (Masters in Public Health) and/or be registered as UKPHR Public Health Practitioner

demonstrable experience of leading strategic change in a complex organisations partnerships or systems

knowledge and understanding of the mechanisms to reduce health inequalities in our communities

a successful track record of creating a vision for service delivery and applying the full commissioning cycle to deliver outcomes that make a positive difference
