Job Purpose
Aliaxis transforms its logistics in EMEA in both warehousing Transportation and Trade compliance to a Aliaxis transforms its logistics in EMEA in both warehousing Transportation and Trade compliance to a logistics 4.0 with modernized warehousing (including 3PL setups) and digitized Transportation Management Systems. A Control Tower (Hubs) will be setup to monitor performance coordinate corrective actions resolve escalations monitor trade compliance and perform the transportation planning on an EMEA basis. This endstate will be achieved in phases of creating standards Management Daily Interfaces and KPIs centralized reporting & data management EMEA Logistics Reporting HUB deployed transportation Planning HUB and predictive solutions which support warehouse & Transportation capacity. The Logistics Project Manager will have a key role in managing the transformation and driving optimization projects. The role will be linking strongly into procurement specifying requirements on transportation and sales optimising service level agreements with our customers.
Preferably University degree Logistics Supply chain Business Management or related field.
3 8 years of Central Transportation Control Tower Experience and Operations and Supply Chain.
Analytical skills (MS. Excel)
Lean Operations Management certification.
Technical Skills & Experience Project Management Planning Transportation Management.
Speaks Spanish German and English is required.

Key responsibilities:
Transportation Management
Support the Rollout of Transportation Management System (TMS) in EMEA.
Work closely with carriers suppliers and internal teams to ensure timely and efficient transportation of goods
Use advanced tracking systems (TMS carrier tracking systems etc) to monitor the movement of goods and address any issues that arise
Analyze transportation data to identify trends inefficiencies and opportunities for improvement (shortterm)
Transportation Planning
Develop and implement transportation plans to optimize routes reduce costs and improve delivery times by utilizing standard processes and the standard TMS (Transport management system)
Ensure that transportation allocation agreed with Procurement is followed as well any SPOT/BACKup processes
Solve unplanned transport events on daily base
Support continuous logistics ad hoc tasks
Ensure all transportation activities comply with relevant regulations and company policies.
Ensure all transportation costs are controlled and inline with agreed pricing by Procurement
Verify Invoices and resolve issues
Reporting
Prepare regular reports on transportation performance and present findings to management.
Control the planning and logistics KPIs
Control logistics issues and claims
Follow up logistics issues and claims with solutions to any operational abnormality
Propose continuous improvements for the planning and logistics KPIs
Prepare SLAs(Service Level Agreements) on Logistics prepare reviews with carriers and propose improvements.
Compliance
Ensure all transportation activities comply with relevant regulations and company policies.
Ensure all transportation costs are controlled and inline with agreed pricing by Procurement
Verify Invoices and resolve issues
