Job Description
We are looking for a Test Engineer II who will:
- You will be responsible for testing new or modified software to ensure a level of quality and conformance to requirement and established standards.
- You will develop test methods software and hardware design install software and develop automation in coordination with development team (knowledge of Visual Studio C# and Specflow is a great plus).
- You will initiate and drive the development and review of test processes plans and procedures following CSGI test platform.
- You will execute tests against hardware and software to validate features functionality and performance.
- You will be identifying analyzing and documenting any defects discovered during testing.
- You will support the ongoing problem resolution and upgrade of current production automated and semiautomated test systems.
- You will document results and work closely with developers and others to analyze and debug issues.
- You will research recommend and develop new test automation frameworks and tools.
- You will utilize continuous integration tools such as Jenkins to execute automated tests.
Is this opportunity right for you We are looking for candidates who:
- Bachelors degree in computer science management information systems or a related field is required. Equivalent work experience in a similar position may be substituted for educational requirement Minimum of 35 years of experience in accounting roles particularly within IT or software companies.
- 35 years of Quality Assurance Testing experience is required.
- 2 years preferred experience working with programming languages (C# Script PowerShell) and relational database systems including SQL query development.
- Exposure to WCF services and XML is a plus.
- Experience with automated acceptance tests is desired (ATTD SpecFlow BDD).
- Agile Environment/Scrum exposure is desired.
- Strong knowledge of system testing and software quality assurance best practices and methodologies.
- 2 years of testing automation and 2 years of experience with scripting test automation tools.
- 2 years of experience with performance testing with tools.
- Must have excellent written and communication skills.
- Experience working in a teamoriented and collaborative environment.
- Must have good project management skills keen attention to detail and selfdirection and work with minimum supervision.
