Job Description

We will be a big FAN of yours too if at a minimum you have:
- A High School diploma or GED equivalent and be at least 18 years old
- A bachelors degree in psychology behavioral science social services or related discipline or four years of relevant experience workingwith Individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities behavioral challenges dual diagnoses or in the care of the medically fragile
- A current drivers license and California automobile insurance coverage for driving your personal vehicle to and from various community locations either independently or with other team members and/or Individuals and if a company vehicle is available for use one must also be 21 years of age and
- Ability to read write and speak English. Bilingual in English/Spanish is preferred.

But heres a known family secret being part of one does take effort its all about what you do (your responsibilities/contributions) and how you do it (your behaviors/superpowers) so here are some of the things you can expect to experience as you build yourFANclub in this house.
There will be challenges:
- Just like families disabilities come in different types. You will see many of them along with the mental health challenges in the Individuals (aka the Program participants) that we serve. You will also learn about the different agencies and resources we work with to help you provide support directly or indirectly to the Individuals.
There will be chores:
- In conjunction with the Program Supervisor and Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) you will provide onthejob training to all new hires and current team members on documentation and other Program topics practices and/or procedures. You will also coordinate staff training on behavior modification techniques with an emphasis on the Individuals diagnoses and assist in the development and implementation of program policies and procedures.
- You will gather initial and ongoing information for identifying Individuals interests and needs to create Behavior Charts for Individuals based on their own unique challenges. You will also consult with team members on the implementation of these personcentered plans. In addition to creating initial assessments you will also complete the semiannual and annual reports on Individuals program plans and progress. You may also assist in locating applicable resources in the community to be utilized by Individuals (e.g. activities schools volunteer work vocational training etc..
There will be chats C.A.R.E. & cheers:
- You will participate in all required training team and company meetings to build your knowledge skills and abilities to grow in the family. We like to promote from within our own house!
- You will take ownership of your own behaviors and help coach others over time in how to effectively demonstrate the companys C.A.R.E. values (compassion adaptability respect and empowerment).
- You will receive ongoing coaching and performance feedback and be recognized for your personal and team contributions in addition to demonstrating the C.A.R.E. values.
