Job Description

Title:Sr Consumer Research & Insights Manager

Remote Role Must be in EST or CST Hours

Required: US Citizenship and Residency

W2 Contract Only / NO C2C

Hourly Rate: $40 $51.70 DOE with limited benefits

***No C2C we can NOT work with outside agencies/vendors and we can NOT do 1099

** US CITIZENSHIP IS REQUIRED***

Geologics is looking for Sr Consumer Research & Insights Manager

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Marketing Social Science Psychology Business or a related field. Masters degree preferred.
  • 7 years of experience in consumer insights market research or related fields
  • Experience in consumer facing product or service industry
  • Highly regarded experience in technology robotics direct to consumer (DTC) ecommerce or other innovation oriented industries
  • Demonstrated experience in range of consumer insight research methodologies
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to tell compelling stories using data.
  • Proficiency with analysis tools (e.g. Python Tableau etc) and expert at using survey platforms (e.g. Qualtrics).
  • Familiarity with POS data sources eg. Circana/ Nielsen
  • Strong analytical thinking skills
  • Ability to identify patterns and connect the dots to identify meaningful insights
  • Passion curiosity and personal leadership


Duties and responsibilities:

Innovation Insight & Trend Analysis:

Lead initiatives to identify emerging consumer behaviors and trends that have the potential to influence innovation. Use various research methodologies to uncover unmet needs and new opportunities for product development and market differentiation. Monitor global and regional market trends to provide earlystage insights that inform ideation and futurefacing opportunities.

Consumer & Market Behavior Insights:

Lead consumer research to understand evolving preferences pain points and needs. Understand the current and potential consumer target and translate insights into actionable recommendations that influence new product designs marketing campaigns and overall business strategies. Champion consumer empathy and be the voice of the consumer within the organization.

Competitive Intelligence:

Monitor the competitive landscape identifying trends competitor activities and market shifts that may affect consumer behavior. Create action oriented and impactful outputs that help leadership and product teams stay ahead of the competition by adjusting strategies as needed.

Stakeholder Engagement:

Partner with key business stakeholders; including product managers designers R&D and the marketing team to understand business questions design research programs and share insightful learning that advocates for the consumer. The ability to collaborate and influence the organization will be critical to success in this role.
