Senior Account Executive Colocation Data Center Services

Our Client is looking for an Established Colocation Data Center Services Account Executive who has 5 years of Experience in the Colocation Data Center Services space. You Can Sell Clients @ All 6 Data Centers in the US (see below).

They want a Veteran Colocation AE 5 years & Up) who has Grit is SelfMotivated Can Roll Up Their Sleeves Get Their Hands Dirty Has an Entrepreneurial Spirit & Loves Closing Big Deals!

  • They own and operate 6 Data Centers in Northern Virginia Silicon Valley 2 Chicago Houston and Austin. Their Tier III Hybrid ITReady CarrierNeutral Facilities Provide Customizable Colocation Solutions w/ High CustomerFocus!

The Client prefers to hire AEs with Companies like Savvis CenturyLink Internap Sungard AS Equinix Digital Realty QTS Datacenters ViaWest TELX CoreSite Tierpoint Datapipe Zayo Sentinel etc. in their Sales background.


Experience Required:

Our Client Wants a Highly Motivated Experienced Data Center AE to Join their Growing Chicagobased Team Who Is:
  • SelfManaged DetailOriented Professional Who Thrives in ClientFacing Roles.
  • Encouraged to Meet Clients InPerson and Participate in Entertaining as Needed.
  • Reports to a Selling Supportive Sales Manager who Values Metrics KPIs Accountability & Hates Micromanaging.
  • Hybrid Role (Monday & Friday) WFH or w/ Clients (TuesdayThursday) w/ Clients or InOffice.

Ideal Candidate:
  • 5 years of Experience in Data Center Sales NOT looking for a Green Rep Who Requires Oversight.
  • Proven Ability to Hunt New Business While also Managing Some Key Existing MidtoLarge Accounts.
  • Resilient Entrepreneurial HandsOn & Loves President Club Trips.
  • Strong Rolodex & Colocation Industry Relationships are a Big.


Work Location: Metro Chicago Can Sell Clients @ Any of Their Data Center Locations In the US!

Compensation: $120000.00 $130000.00 Base

On Target Earnings: $240000.00 $260000.00 (No Cap) Paid on TCV (Total Contract Value!
