Description
Hire Resolves client is looking for a Junior .Net Developer to join their RandD team in Durban KZN. This role is ideal for someone with a passion for software development and a desire to grow within the .NET ecosystem. As a junior developer youll work closely with experienced developers to support the development and maintenance of web applications gaining valuable handson experience and learning industry best practices.

Responsibilities:
- Assist in the development and maintenance of web applications using C# .NET Core and ASP MVC.
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot and debug code learning to solve complex problems in a supportive environment.
- Contribute to implementing microservices background services (e.g. Hangfire) under the guidance of senior developers.
- Support frontend tasks gaining familiarity with JavaScript frameworks (e.g. Angular React or Vue.js) and Blazor for interactive web UIs.
- Participate in code reviews learning to write clean maintainable code.
- Assist with database development using TSQL and stored procedures.
- Learn and support basic DevOps practices including CI/CD processes.
- Assist in the development and maintenance of web applications using C# .NET Core and ASP MVC.

- Learn and support basic DevOps practices including CI/CD processes.
- 1 year of experience or relevant internship in .NET development (C# .NET Core ASP MVC).
- Basic knowledge of SQL and familiarity with TSQL.
- Exposure to JavaScript frameworks (e.g. Angular React or Vue.js) and willingness to learn Blazor.
- Enthusiasm for learning about caching (e.g. Redis) messaging queues (e.g. RabbitMQ) and background services.
- Understanding of the software development lifecycle and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Strong problemsolving skills and a desire to learn and grow in a collaborative team environment.
Additional Tools/Technologies (Preferred but Not Required)
- Familiarity with API documentation (Swagger/OpenAPI).
- Basic knowledge of Docker and CI/CD pipelines.
- Any exposure to cloud platforms (Azure AWS) is a plus.
- Interest in using Telerik UI components for web applications
