Job Description
Qualis Corporation is seeking a project engineer to lead the development of a compact space based RF payload with demonstrated develop position experience developing space hardware solutions to join our team of well qualified diverse individuals at our Huntsville AL office.
Essential Functions:
- Develop and apply advanced hardware design methods theories and research techniques in the investigation and solution of complex and advanced technical problems.
- Lead team of subject matter experts to define technical problem and architect solutions
- Develop and present technical white papers and executive level briefings.
- Develop program technical approach and technical roadmap
- Develop technical program plan identify technical milestones and ensure progress against the technical objectives.
Requirements
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in engineering with 5 years of experience
- Experience with space electronics design practices
- Experience with design engineering project engineering and systems engineering principles
- Experience with digital signal processing systems and radio frequency systems
- Ability to work with a dynamic skilled team on highimpact highvisibility projects
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance
Preferred Qualifications:
- BS in EE or a related technical field preferred
- Experience with building software interfaces to hardware
- Possess excellent timemanagement skills to contribute to multiple tasks concurrently
- Possess excellent oral and written communication skills
- Possess excellent presentation skills
