Job Description
- Promote a positive work environment based onteam dynamics mutual respect and adherence tothe organizations stated principles and values.
- Perform final quality check to verify that the orders/ transfers/ vendor claims provided to packing area are 100 accurate per the order requirements.
- Report any discrepancies per established procedures.
- Input dataentry to accurately document the items and quantities includedineach packing transaction.
- Prepare andpackage alloutbound orders carefully to ensure that the merchandise issufficiently protected from intransit loss or damage.
- Applypackaginglabels/attachpackinglistsandstagecompletedordersforshipment manifest
- Identifyexpeditedrequirementsandprioritizetheprocessingofthoseneedsaccordingly.
- Assistinthetrainingofnewpackingstaffandotherlessexperiencedpackers.
- Attendtoregularhousekeepingresponsibilitiesthroughoutthewarehouse.
- Reportanyunsafeworkpracticesoraccidentstosupervisorinatimelymanner.
- Conduct packingsupplyinventorychecksandensurethatstock levelsofpackingsupplies are maintained.
- Perform additional job duties which may be added at any time.
- Minimum educational requirement: High school graduate or equivalency with the ability to read and write in English and perform basic math calculations
- Minimumexperiencerequirement:Fiveormoreyearsinasimilarposition/parallel working
environmentutilizingahandheldbarcodescanneranddesktopPCapplications - Ability to safely operate apallet jacktape machine andother ordinary tools essential to perform the job
- Abilitytostandforextendedperiodsoftimeandbend/reachoverhead
