EUMETSAT is hiring a Desktop / SCCM System Admin Engineerfor their offices in Darmstadt Germany.
The role requires support for the maintenance and operation as well as the evolution and enhancement to the ICT Datacentre and Infrastructure services. In particular the role will focus on:
Distribute Package Applications for Windows 10 (SCCM) Windows 11 (Intune)
Prepare evaluate and coordinate the validation of software patches and updates to keep the Desktops and Servers uptodate against security issues and vulnerabilities;
Maintain software and license databases;
Provide 2nd level user and technical support;
Liaise with the external service provider and if necessary escalate 3rd level incidents;
Contribute to the procurement of information technology services systems and components by providing specifications and performing price inquiries as well as act as interface with hardware and software suppliers regarding procurement warranty and maintenance issues;
Building packaging and installations of software solutions;
Operate Maintain the Desktop/Notebook/Cloud PC OS and Application deployment systems
Package Applications for distribution to end user Computers
Manage WSUS infrastructure to patch the systems regularly
Upgrade the Desktop/Notebook OS regularly in order to keep the systems always under support
Ensure timely response to security audit findings and identified vulnerabilities
The role will be performed between EUMETSAT premises and teleworking.
In addition to experience in the above activities the following skills are required for the service:
Requirements:
Fluency in English
Windows 10 Application Packaging with SCCM
Intune Administration

VMware administration
VMware horizon administration
Troubleshooting Microsoft Teams
Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate
Exam MS220: Troubleshooting Microsoft Exchange Online
