Come work as a Psychiatrist with Vancouver Coastal Health (VCH)!
Join our mental health team on the beautiful Sunshine Coast! This is a hospitalbased position in Powell River BC where two fulltime adult psychiatrists will serve diverse mental health and addiction needs. Parttime applicants are welcome. Combination of outpatient and inpatient 7bed psychiatric unit). No overhead. No call. There is an opportunity to choose between solely inpatient or outpatient work. Comprehensive allied health care supports onsite including ACT ICMT counseling and close collaborative care with family physicians nurse practitioners and specialists. ECT provided on site. If you enjoy acute and varied teambased work this position is for you! Applicants with leadership and quality/program improvement experience or training would be a bonus.CME and physician leadership education incentives are available.

Qualifications
Education Licensing & Experience:
- Current College of Physicians of BC (CPSBC) Provisional/Mandatory
- Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians of Canada (FRCPC) Mandatory
- Canadian Medical Protective Association (CMPA) Mandatory
