Sacred Heart School in Bellevue is seeking a creative and innovative educator to teach technology to our students in grades K8 and to promote the innovative responsible and meaningful use of educational technology in our school. The technology specialist will teach classes in grades K8 including a variety of electives in middle school (past electives have included graphic design yearbook coding robotics). This teacher will work in collaboration with our other educational technology teacher. The educational technology specialist will be responsible for overseeing the schools MAPs testing;leading the technology committee; and researching implementing and coaching staff on the use of new and existing educational technology.

An extensive background in technology is not required. We are much more interested in an experienced teacher who is passionate about unlocking creativity in our students and supporting our staff in using technology to enhance their instruction. We are looking for someone who has big ideas and possesses the drive and discipline to bring them to life. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are a must as this teacher regularly works with a variety of students staff and parents with varying degrees of experience with educational technology. We will provide professional development and training in educational technology for the right candidate.

Salary:The salary range for this position is from $60000$98000.Any offered salary is determined based on internal equity internal salary ranges market data applicants skills and prior relevant experience degrees and certifications.
