The Hitachi Energy Indian Operations Center (INOPC) is a competence center with around 2600 skilled engineers who focus on tendering engineering planning procurement project Management functional system testing installation supervision documentation and commissioning.
Mission Statement
Supporting the US 2108 Supply chain procurement team in daytoday activities and collaborate with suppliers to expedite the delivery of components to factory & Distribution center in USA.
Your responsibilities:
Track and expedite the movement of materials and components from suppliers to production or distribution areas.
Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with procurement to prevent shortages.
Work closely with suppliers to ensure ontime delivery and resolve delays or discrepancies.
Communicate with production teams to prioritize urgent materials and adjust schedules as needed.
Maintain accurate records of shipments purchase orders and material flow Tracks goods received to verify appropriate delivery and ensure invoice processing.
Well versed with local and international Incoterms packing and logistics needs Adapts corporate contractual framework to the local business needs.

Your background:
3 to 4 Years Experience in purchasing logistics or supply chain operations in manufacturing industry.
Diploma / bachelors in engineering with Electrical & Electronics or Mechanical
Knowledge of supply chain management logistics or inventory control. Familiarity with SAP MM Module.
Familiarity with Inventory Management systems.
Ability to analyse data and generate reports.
Problemsolving skills to handle delays and disruptions.
Basic understanding of procurement and vendor management.
Very good communication skill
