Job Description
We are currently recruiting for a parttime supervising nurse to join our team. The position is responsible for providing quality evidencebased healthcare services to individuals in their homes. Qualified applicants must possess a valid registered nurse (RN) license possess at least two years of medical supervision experience have strong communication skills be willing to travel for occasional house visits and possess excellent organizational and multitasking skills. Essential Functions:
- Provides the initial and ongoing evaluation of clients in need of assistance with activities of daily living and/or nursing services.
- Serve as liaison betweenstaff and patients and patient families to create and implementappropriate service plans
- Evaluatesupervisees by direct observation or demonstration of the tasks they are assigned to perform
- Performs supervisory home visits to clients receiving personal care aide services or companion services at least 3 months as recommended by the Georgia Department of Community Health
- Regularly audithome health care staffandmonitor patient progress and outcomes and adjust care plans as needed.
- Monitor patient safety and quality of care
Minimum Education & Experience Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Nursing or related field.
- Current Georgia Registered Nurse (RN) license
- 2 years of medical supervision experience
- Home healthcare experience
- Valid drivers license
- CPR Certified
Knowledge Skills & Abilities Required:
- Able to observe and assess the client visually and aurally.
- Able to demonstrate basic understanding and Proficiency ofworkplace software
- Able to effectively communicate in English with all levels of the workforce both clinical and nonclinical.
- Able to perform and prioritize multiple functions or tasks.
- Meets applicable health requirements to provide client care.
Working Conditions & Physical Requirements:
- Work is normally performed in a clients home.
- Able to constantly travel locally from assignment to assignment.
- Able to lift reposition and transfer clients.
- Able to stand walk bend stoop squat kneel and reach freely and assist clients with walking.
- Able to work flexible schedule and/or evening hours as needed.
Job Details:
- parttime
- $80 flat fee payable to you for each client case that you open. These include visits to the clients home where you will finalize the service plan and/or conduct a supervisory visit.
- $40 per hour payable for Clinical Duties which may include (but may not be limited to) the following: speaking with existing clients and their families once a case is opened and fielding phone calls from our caregivers in the field.
- $25 per hour payable for NonClinical Duties is optional if RN is willing to help withsupport managementsuch as: facilitating orientation classes; attending sales visits to potential referral sources; employee and client file audits and attending marketing events (such as industry fairs chamber of commerce meetings etc.
